Formed in 1948, Palmers Green Angling Society originally catered for anglers in the North London area by organising train and coach outings to the River Thames and River Great Ouse. Times have certainly changed since then but our passion for fishing hasn't.
We now cater for the needs of all coarse anglers - expert or novice, matchman, specimen hunter or pleasure angler. Additionally, we have active trout and sea fishing sections catering for the all-round angler.
The society offers angling at a variety of venues; rivers, lakes, gravel pits and canals, and we are members of the National Association of Fisheries and Angling Consultatives (NAFAC), Enfield Sports Advisory Council, Enfield Anglers Council and the Lee Valley Anglers' Consultative Association. We are also members of the angling trust.
