How to Apply
Membership of Palmers Green Angling Society is currently open to all anglers and there is NO waiting list in place; we are not a large Society, nor do we intend becoming such. If you enjoy angling in a clean and peaceful countryside, giving due respect to the environment and others who share your interests, then please apply today.
Application for membership is really simple - just select a membership type from the drop-down list below and complete your payment via PayPal. Once your payment has been processed, please select the option to return to the Palmers Green Angling Society page and you will automatically be taken to our registration form. Also when applying for membership can you please make sure you send two passport sized photographs with your application form.
Alternatively, you can apply via post - please click the button below for our application form. And then send it to the following address:
14, Beltona Gardens,
Number 07415 713803
Once we have received your application for membership, our Membership Secretary will contact you and ask you to attend the next meeting; all new members must attend a meeting when joining, there are no exceptions to this condition.
Meetings are held at Enfield Town Conservative Club, Old Park Avenue, Enfield, EN2 6PR on the fourth Monday of each month (if the 4th Monday is a Bank Holiday, the meeting will move to the Tuesday of that week).
Please note: we aim to send out membership tickets within 72 hours but please allow a week for receipt. It may be possible to arrange collection from our membership secretary sooner so please call to discuss.
PGAS welcomes applications from individual juniors (under 16) subject to the following conditions:
Each individual Junior Member shall be sponsored by a current Senior Member, who shall advise the junior on angling matters. Should you not know a Senior Member of the Society, one may be found to sponsor you.
During each year of membership, individual Junior Members should ideally participate in a minimum of two fishing events as agreed with the Junior Secretary.
Please do not be put off by these conditions; they exist simply to educate and inform young anglers and to encourage Junior Members to take an active role in the Society.
Several junior competitions are arranged each year, always offering an array of prizes and trophies.
Extra meetings and events will be organised subject to demand so please tell us what you want!
Young anglers are the future of our sport and are most welcome in our Society.
